Retail Sales Associate - Part Time
4T2D is a Vermont-based apparel brand creating timeless, USA-made clothing and accessories designed to move effortlessly through everyday life. Every 4T2D product is proudly designed and manufactured just down the road at our Fourbital Factory on Pine Street in Burlington. Our flagship store on Church Street features both our own locally made collection and a thoughtfully curated selection of other USA-made brands that we know, trust, and love.
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be one of the faces of the 4T2D brand and help create a warm, welcoming, and engaging shopping experience. You'll connect customers with products that have a story—sharing how our apparel is made locally in Burlington while introducing them to other exceptional American-made brands that align with our values of quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, takes pride in creating an inviting retail environment, and is passionate about supporting local manufacturing, American-made products, and small businesses.
Essential Job Functions:
- Welcome and assist customers by providing knowledgeable, personalized service in a warm and engaging environment.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately during assigned shifts, including processing sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Help plan, coordinate, and execute in-store visual merchandising displays that reflect the 4T2D brand.
- Restock merchandise and maintain inventory levels on the sales floor.
- Keep the storefront clean, organized, and inviting throughout each shift.
- Develop a strong understanding of the 4T2D collection and our curated assortment of USA-made brands to confidently recommend products and share each brand's story with customers.
- Answer customer questions and provide styling and product recommendations.
- Support special events, promotions, and seasonal merchandising updates.
- Work collaboratively with the retail team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Availability Requirements:
- Weekend availability required.
- Available to work two weekday afternoons each week.
- Must be available to work at least two Saturdays per month.
Position Specifics:
Location: 4T2D, 101 Church Street, Burlington, VT
Schedule: Part-time, 4–20 hours per week
Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
